I graduated from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. I majored in graphic design and had a minor in English with a public relations emphasis. Once I graduated, I spent time writing and editing newsletters and press releases. I am now starting to prepare for the publication of my first novel.As a tutor, I am committed to helping my students master the techniques and processes that will allow them to become better math students, readers, and writers. I teach my students that the writing process requires discipline and practice from them. It is more than simply having a natural talent for writing, as I believe that every single student has the ability to grow as a skilled writer.Some of the subjects that I consider myself to be well-versed in include Latin, reading, writing, geometry, elementary and middle school math, phonics, essay editing, literature, college essays, study skills and organization, public speaking, English, art, AP studio art 2D design, and AP studio art drawing.When I find free time for myself, I enjoy working on my young adult fantasy novel. I also enjoy reading, drawing, dancing, walking, fencing, playing the violin, going to the movies, and volunteering as a youth group minister.
